September 2026 Updates
This month's updates bring more ways to compete, more control over the member experience, and greater system reliability, with new distance race challenges, expanded equipment compatibility, and performance improvements across Spivi.
New: Race Challenges
Bring even more competition and energy to your workouts with new race challenges, now available across all Spivi products.
For cycling and treadmill workouts, members can compete to complete a set distance in the fastest time, with 16 preset race distances ranging from quick 100-meter sprints to 10-mile endurance races. Challenges can be set up for individual or team competition.
With Spivi Arena, members can get in on the competition too, racing to see who can reach a set calorie goal first.
Whether you're tracking distance or calories, the new race challenges give you another way to motivate members, create friendly competition, and keep workouts engaging.
New Update: More Control Over Your Spivi Experience
We've introduced several new customization options that give operators even greater control over the member experience.
Profile Picture Visibility
Facilities can now choose whether member profile pictures appear throughout the platform, including leaderboards, participant views, challenge podiums, and workout summaries. This provides an additional level of privacy while allowing each facility to customize the experience to match its preferences.
Workout Timer Audio
Workout timer sound effects can now be enabled or disabled through the system settings, giving instructors greater control over the class environment.
Dynamic Idle Screensaver
A new dynamic screensaver automatically activates whenever no participants are connected to a workout and instantly disappears as soon as someone joins, helping displays remain clean and professional between classes.
Behind the Scenes: Reliability & Performance Improvements
Alongside this month's new features, we've made several behind-the-scenes improvements designed to deliver a smoother, more reliable Spivi experience during every class.
Faster, More Reliable Member Login
We've improved the login process to better handle slow or interrupted internet connections. If connectivity is temporarily lost, Spivi will automatically retry and log members in once the connection is restored.
More Reliable Workout Reports
Workout report delivery has been strengthened to perform more reliably across different network and firewall configurations.
Improved Leaderboard Displays
We've refined leaderboard and metrics layouts for cleaner, more consistent displays, along with additional customization options for how workout data appears on screen.
We've also continued improving system communication, diagnostics, and overall network reliability, making troubleshooting faster and helping Spivi perform more consistently across different environments.
