Spivi System Maintenance Mode

The maintenance mode allows system operators to accomplish the following tasks:

  • Pair fitness equipment (bike consoles, power sensors, heart rate monitors etc) with training spots.
  • Unpair broken fitness equipment from training spots.
  • Switch between training spots.
  • Test the signal quality of the fitness equipment.
  • Test and configure the fitness data receivers. (ANT, BLE, CUBO, WASP etc).
  • Add training spots.
  • Remove training spots.
  • Apply custom settings per training spot.

Launching the Maintenance Mode

1. Turn the wireless controller on by pressing and holding the guide button for 3 seconds.

2. Launch the system by pressing the start button.
3. When the system is on the main menu screen, press and hold the blue & red buttons.

NOTE: The system will automatically activate the maintenance mode when it won’t be able to find a valid training spots settings.

 

Pair a training spot

Before trying to pair a training spot please make sure that:

  • The static fitness data receivers (ANT / BLE sticks)  are connected properly to the system according to the installation guide.
  • The wireless fitness data receivers (CUBO / WASP) are installed properly.
  • All the fitness equipment devices (bike consoles, power sensors, heart rate monitors etc) are installed and working properly.
  • The training room has been set up for optimal fitness equipment signal quality.
  • Look for the receiver status on the bottom area of the screen and make sure that your receivers are listed and functioning properly.
    Dark green indicator next to a receiver means that this receiver is functioning properly.
    Light green indicator means that data is transfered over this device.
    Red indicator means that the receiver is not functioning as expected.
    If one or more of your existing receivers are not listed, refer to the Select Receivers option in order to load it.

Once you’ve verified the above conditions you can start the pairing process:

1. Use the directional pad to choose the spot you wish to pair and press the start button.

2. Select the Pair option from the popup menu and press the start button to confirm.

3. Activate the desired fitness equipment device you’d like to pair is active. I.E for indoor cycling bike you should simply start pedaling, for heart rate monitor you should turn it on and wear it properly.
4. The system will try to automatically detect a single active fitness equipment device and pair it with the select training spot.

5. In case the system detects multiple fitness equipment devices, it will show a list of all available devices and let you manually select the device you’d like to pair.

6. Use the directional pad to select the fitness equipment device and press the start button to confirm.

7. Repeat the above steps for each training spot you’d like to pair.

For each paired training spot the system will display the number of paired devices, signal quality indicator and realtime fitness data (heart rate, power, cadence etc).

NOTE: The position of the training spots shown on the maintenance mode is not associated with their actual positions in the room.

Unpair a training spot

1. Use the directional pad to choose the spot you wish to unpair and press the start button.
2. Select the Unpair option from the popup menu. and press the start button to confirm.
3. Use the directional pad to select the fitness equipment device you’d like to unpair from the selected training spot and press the start button to confirm.

Switch training spots

1. Use the directional pad to choose the spot you wish to switch and press the start button.
2. Select the Switch Spot option from the popup menu and press the start button to confirm.
3. With the directional pad navigate to the second station and press the start button to perform the switch operation.

Discard & Exit

1. Click the start button on the controller, choose Discard & Exit with the directional pad and press again the start button.
2. Choose yes using the directional pad and press the start button to confirm this operation.

Save & Exit

1. Click the start button on the controller, choose Save & Exit with the directional pad and press again the start button.
2. Choose yes using the directional pad and press the start button to confirm this operation.

Advanced Options (“Show More”)

To use the advanced options, press the start button to display the menu, choose Show More with the directional pad and press again the start button to confirm.

  

  • Select Receivers

Use this option if you don’t see one of your receivers at the bottom of the screen, although it is installed in the training room.

  • Select every receiver that you have installed using the start button.
  • Once you are done press the back button to close the receivers selection menu.
  • Each selected receiver will be listed on the bottom area of the screen.
    Green indicator means that the receiver is operating as expected while red indicates that this receiver is not funtioning as expected.

NOTE: When having a red indicator next to a receiver, once you exit the Pairing tool, you will see ERROR at the button on the Spivi screen indicating the receiver is not installed properly.

  • Add or Remove training spots
  • To add a spot, select the spot you wish to add a new station next to, press the start button to show the menu, choose the “Add Spot” option with the directional pad, and press start button to confirm. A new training station will be added next to the selected training spot. The maximal allowed training spots is determined by your system license.   • To remove a spot, select the spot you wish to remove, press the start button to show the menu, choose the “Remove Spot” option with the directional pad, and press start button to confirm.
    • Edit Spot

    Use the edit spot option to configure the training spot unique id.
    Select the spot you wish to edit, press the start button to show the menu and choose the “Edit Spot” option with the directional pad.
    Use the up and down gamepad arrows to change the spot id and press start button to confirm.
